My Story

As a teacher & school administrator, I have spent over the past 15 years helping younger students reach their goals and find their passions. Working with adult learners as an adjunct and program manager gave me the opportunity to help professionals take control of their lives and make impactful changes in their careers.

The Big Move!

I have strived to enjoy my days working by centering my work roles around purpose and passion. Anytime that I have lost zeal for a position, I would challenge myself to refocus on my WHY and personal goals. Often times, after re-evaluating the season of life that I was in or deciding the best way to navigate new circumstances, I would opt to make a career shift to better meet my current needs.

These were usually not easy or comfortable moves to make and greatly pushed me outside of my comfort zone. Confidence and maintaining a positive mindset were fundamental tools that I used through each transition phase.

Living out my passion and purpose has led me on a path of being a lifelong learner and obtaining several college degrees and certifications. After climbing the corporate public-school ladder for over a decade, I left my job.

Yes, full-time Entrepreneurship as a Magazine Owner & Publisher reinvigorated my ability to think outside of the box! I was back in full control of my time and my worth. I set the calendar, pace, and rates for all endeavors, versus working an unlimited number of hours for a fixed amount of compensation and living for a "weekend break".

Grow Your Vision

Financially contributing to my family has always been a priority, which could make it tempting to stay in a secure role after being there for years. However, I have decided to stay true to the importance of enjoying your profession and making changes, when necessary, even if it seems scary or challenging. As a high school district Career Coach, I used to tell my students not to let the fear on the unknown stop them from trying something new. If you fail, or do not like it, that is fine. There is no way to know without taking the first step to explore. This is advice that I remind myself of often as someone that has led a multi-faceted career.

I am connecting all the dots from my past experiences, 7-5 jobs, skills, and passion to pursue my purpose. My own journey to becoming a coach began with a deep passion for personal growth and a desire to help others do the same. I believe that everyone has the potential to lead a fulfilling and purposeful life, and my mission is to help you discover and unlock that potential.
